Ruel, 57, of New Gloucester died on Saturday, October 15, 2016, with her loving family by her side, after a battle with cancer.  She was the partner of the late Rebecca J. Hill.  She was born on March 30, 1959 in Biddeford, ME a daughter of the late Roland L. and Lucille M. Minot, ME - Roland J. Roux, 68, of Minot died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Lisbon.  He was the husband of MaryAnn (Habershaw) Gleezen and of the late Terry (Kelley) Roux.  He was born on March 18, 1948 in Lewiston, ME a son of the late Adrian & Louise (Fleury) Roux.  Roland served his country proudly, entering the US Army in 1972 during the Vietnam Conflict where he stayed until his honorable discharge in 1975, retiring as a Corporal E-4.   Roland had been employed by the Lisbon Fabric Mills and for the City of Bath as a truck...

Scarborough, ME – Dr. Barbara (Wiener) Raisbeck, 88, of Piper Shores, died on Saturday, September 24, 2016. She was the wife of the late Gordon Raisbeck.  Barbara was born on February 7, 1928 in Arlington, MA a daughter of the late Norbert & Marguerite (Engemann) Wiener. After graduating from high school, Barbara went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University School of Journalism and then earned her PhD in Biology from Brandeis University.  Barbara had a career in journalism and worked as a newspaper reporter.
