He was born on March 2, 1954, the beloved son of Fay (St. Pierre) Bailey of Yarmouth and the late Edward A. Hugo M. Sonagere

Auburn, ME – Hugo Mark Sonagere, age 88, passed away on March 6, 2017 at The Odd Fellows’ and Rebekahs’ Home of Maine.   He was born January 12, 1929 to the late Alessandro and Pia (Satore) as one of seven children.  In 1951 he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  As a member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers Hugo served during the Korean War.  In 1953 he returned home and joined the Local Tile Union 77 out of Newark NJ.  In 1954 he married Egidia, and they began their family journey...
