Portland, ME - Thomas R. Boothby, 63, of Portland, ME died unexpectedly on Friday, September 27, 2019. Leaving behind his wife of 31 years, Sandy Boothby also of Portland, ME.
Thomas was born in Portland on February 19, 1956 and spent his early working years at Clean and Shine and his later years driving for local taxi companies. Thomas was well known for his outgoing personality and witty humor. He spent his pass time watching the Patriots with his grandsons, playing cards and loving his friends and family. He may be gone too soon but will never forgotten.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his Daughter, Courtney Riz-Boothby and son in law Mario Riz of Portland. He also leaves his grandsons Antonio Boothby and Jovany Riz both of Portland; his Father in law Raymond Frank of Scarborough as well as many family and friends. He was also the father of the late Keisha Boothby who dies 2013.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend A Celebration of life on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Moose Lodge, 19 Spring Street, Scarborough, ME from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
