Portland, ME – Matthew J. “Ozzy” Harrington, 40, died unexpectedly in Chelsea, ME on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 while visiting his Father.
He was born in Portland, ME on June 28, 1976 a son of John S. Harrington and his wife Kendra of Chelsea, ME and the late Celetta E. (Coombs) Harrington. He grew up in South Portland, attending local area schools and graduated from South Portland High School.
Ozzy worked as a tow truck driver for a few different companies in the area but mostly for Maietta Towing in Scarborough. Matt struggled w/ recovery and is now finally at peace and with his beloved Mother.
Besides his father John, he is survived by his son Zachary Harrington and his daughter Madison Harrington and their Mother Katie Martin all of Saco, ME. He also leaves his sister Melissa Chason and her husband Mike of Portland, nephews Gaige Hamilton, Noah Chason and Evin Chason and nieces Celetta Richards and Sydney Chason as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Matt’s life on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Ave., Portland.
