Lee A. "Peanut" Scott

ME – Lee A. “Peanut” Scott, 62, of Lewiston passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

He was born on June 1, 1957 in Lewiston, ME; a son of the late Earl H. & Helen F. (Pease) Scott.  He grew up in Monmouth, attending local area schools and went on to make a career in carpentry.

Lee enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as rebuilding motorcycles and riding. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He always loved being with his nieces and nephews. He lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his three sisters Pearlene Colby, Hazel Bowden, and Laura (Dolly) Hodsdon and her husband Larry Hodsdon. He also leaves his four Brothers, Lendell Scott and his wife Sue. Andy Scott and his girlfriend Pauline Routhier, Larry Scott and his wife Doreen and Jerry Scott as well as many nieces and nephews and a dear friend Justin Wight.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at both Russell Park Manor and the Androscoggin Hospice House.

There will be no services.

    My heart goes out to the family and friends. I met Lee in 1969, when I moved to Maine, we were the 6th grade. Lee and his friends love to pick on me because I had an accent (I was from NY), always made me laugh!
