Dear Bob and family,
I was saddened to learn of Beverly's passing. The loss of a beloved life long partner, mother, and grandmother is difficult to bear. I know that time and the loving support of family and friends will be of great solace. I have always thought that the evening rides around the Island that you took together were a great thing, providing time to share the sights and sounds that can be had in such a venture. Often I would see you "on tour" as I sat in front of Tom McCullom's house looking down the Bay. Beverly's passing causes me to think of how quickly time flies and how important it is to stop for at least 20 minutes, to connect with others. At the Builders Boat Show in Portland yesterday I saw the Merganser. I was glad to see her still intact although I would have preferred she was on the mooring in Coleman's.
My and my wife Betsy's sympathy and thoughts are with you all.
