Yarmouth, ME – Robert Andrew Burgess, 41, of Yarmouth, ME died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, January 17, 2018 while at work.
He was born on June 22, 1976 in Portland, ME a son of Wesley E. Burgess and his wife Susan of Bradford, ME and Joanne (Miner) Hartford of Portland. Bobby attended schools in Windham as well as St. Joseph’s in Biddeford, Memorial Middle School and South Portland High School.
He worked for multiple moving companies in the Portland area and Yarmouth Redemption before holding his current job as a cook for Pat’s Pizza in Yarmouth.
Bobby spent many years enjoying roller-skating at Happy Wheels. He was also an avid New England Patriots fan. He lived life to its fullest and not only had a big heart and an outstanding personality but an awesome sense of humor; Bobby was liked by all who met him. The most important part of his world was his three children, whom he loved more than anything in the world. He also enjoyed camping and looked forward to the annual Moosehead Lake Trip. In his spare time he could be found hanging out his friends and his children, playing all types of games from cards to video games.
Besides his parents he is survived by his three children Brenton Burgess, Arianah Burgess and Connor Burgess and Connor's Mother Amanda Arsenault. He also leaves his paternal grandmother Mildred Burgess, his sisters Angela Burgess and her husband Lee Knecht and Amberlyn Burgess and his brother Shannon Burgess and his wife Amy, his nephews Joseph and Aaron Burgess and nieces Evie and Shaelin Burgess, as well as his best friend Matt Noyes and many, many other friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 1047 Congress Street, Portland, ME. A reception will follow at Amvets Hall, 148 North Road, Yarmouth.
