Donald R. ":Don" Lindall

Bath, ME – Donald R. Lindall, 52, of Bath died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Maine Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends, after a long struggle and complications of Diabetes.

Through his final days Don was still Don, right up until the end he made all the decisions regarding his care.  He wanted to let his family and friends know that he loved them very much.  He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan and was able to enjoy his last Pats game this past weekend with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held in Warwick, RI in the spring.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to:

Linda, I'll always remember Don and Ken's quite
"enthusiastic" crib games on Christmases in Maine with you and Dad. I believe he plays crib with the angels now because playing forever would be Don's Heaven.
We hope that your sadness is quelled, knowing Don no longer deals with the physical struggles and his soul is thriving in the heavens now. Please remember that when you think of him, I believe that means Don is with you.
Much love, Suzanne and Ken.

Don was an extraordinary person who had great courage and perseverance. He was kind, thoughtful, and reliable. He was a wonderful friend and a rock to lean on. He made life so much better for my husband and for me. We owe him so very much and I miss having him to lean on. But especially I miss him as a friend.

Don was such an extraordinary person. He not only helped my parents, he became an important friend. My dad always looked forward to seeing him so much, and Don was so observant, determined, and supportive, offering smart ideas and generous companionship. For my mom, he was there for such difficult times, with a calm, clear head and unwavering support. What I will remember most is his kindness. The way he handled his own struggles was remarkable, and then to be such a giving and kind person -- I will carry that with me, remembering one of the most wonderful people I've ever met. With deepest thanks for all he did for our family, we will miss him.
