Jamie Jutras

Scarborough, ME – Jamie Jutras, 38, has lost his long struggle with his mental and addiction demons at his home on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Jamie was on a long, hard faught upward road.  A single use of fentanyl was no longer tolerated by his body.

Jamie was always a good friend; his thoughtfulness, generosity and sensitivity was known by all friends and family. He suffered when he realized that his demons had led him astray; but those who knew him best, appreciated the “good soul” that he was.

Jamie enjoyed art, music and good friendships, including the relationship he had with his dogs Itsa and Kada.

He is survived by his daughter and a large extended family.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Scarborough American Legion, Post 76, Mason Libby Road, Scarborough.

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4
My sincere condolences to the Jutras family and those who knew and loved Jamie on your tragic loss.
The Bible promises at Acts 24:15 and John 5:28,29 of a resurrection, which is a sure hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones.

Wishing you peace and comfort.

What tremendous sorrow Jamie's families and friends are suffering. As a student in my class at Eight Corners School, Jamie exhibited many talents. I am thrilled to know it developed into a love or art and music. Many of you supported him through his struggles which added years to your time with him. Bless you all. Ellen, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Checking in whenever we reconnected made it clear to see the tremendous love you had for this young man. Sending you blessings at this sad time. Jean
