Jerome J. “Jerry” Fecteau

 

Scarborough, ME – Jerome J. “Jerry” Fecteau, 78, of Shapleigh passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.  He was the husband of Valerie J. (Shufelt) Fecteau.

 

He was born in Waterville, ME on June 12, 1940 a son of the late Harvey J. and Elnora (Sears) Fecteau.  He grew up in Waterville, attending local area schools and graduated from Waterville High School in 1958.

 

Jerry became a leading salesman and manager for Northeast Pipe Company and later moved to Southern Maine and went on to a top notch salesman for Redlon & Johnson of Portland before retiring in 2004.

 

He loved NASCAR racing, this was is all time favorite.  He would also get great joy from watching his grandson (Little Buddy) Scottie play sports.  He was a fan of all animals, especially his “Rotties”.

 

Besides his wife Valerie, Jerry is survived by his son Scott Robitaille and his wife Heather of Sanford, his grandson Scott Robitaille Jr. and his granddaughters Madison Bridges and Alysha Cetrone and her fiancée Dakota Waterhouse, plus their two children Jensen and Glorianne.  He also leaves his sister Dot Cashman and her husband Kenny of Waterville.  He was also the father of the late Jason J. Fecteau.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 13 Elm Street, Sanford.
